Baldassarri brushes the podium in Motegi

The FlexBox HP 40 rider completes a good race and finishes fourth; Fernandez, eighth.

The FlexBox HP 40 says goodbye to Japan with a bittersweet taste, with a good performance by Baldassarri and a complicated Sunday for Fernández.

After showing his speed again throughout the weekend, Baldassarri started the race wanting to show the best version of him and fight for the positions of honor. Completing a very solid race, the FlexBox HP 40 rider has always been in the front positions, fighting for the podium until the last lap and, finally, has crossed the finish line in fourth position. Good result of Baldassarri that consolidates the progression that had been showing in recent races.

More complicated has been for his teammate, Augusto Fernández. Starting the grand prix from the second position, the pupil of Sito Pons knew that today it was going to be a tough race because he did not find the correct configuration on dry of Kalex. And so it has been, he has tried to defend his position but little by little his rivals have surpassed him. Despite this, he finished eighth by adding some good points for the championship in a complicated weekend.

The FlexBox HP 40 does not rest and sets course for Australia to ride the third of four transoceanic events, on October 25, 26 and 27.

Lorenzo Baldassarri, 4th, +3,999
"Good and fun race today. I think this weekend has reflected the work we did in Thailand with the team to take a step forward and I was able to be fast again. It was a shame not to be on the podium but the riders in front had something else and when I tried to follow them I could not. In the end they beat me on the last lap and adding a podium would have been fine, but in Australia we have another chance and we will give everything, as always."

Augusto Fernández, 8th, +10,460
"Very hard race today, I have suffered a lot as I had not done for a long time. We knew that today it would be an unknown race because we did not find the good setting in dry. I started well and maintained the position but then I have been losing positions and I couldn't defend myself. There are three races left and we must remain positive to continue giving everything. Thanks once again to the team, which has worked very well in a difficult weekend."
