Great qualifying session for the FlexBox HP 40 in Motegi

Fernández and Baldassarri will start the Japanese Grand Prix from the second and third positions, respectively.

The second day of the Japanese Grand Prix has been very positive for the FlexBox HP 40, managing to place both riders on the first grid line for tomorrow's race.

On a day spent by water, both the last free and qualifying practice, Fernández and Baldassarri have shown their best version and have felt like a fish in the water.

Fernández, who yesterday had a complicated dry day, has been able to rebuild and mark the second fastest time of the session. He has stopped the clock at 2:02.113 and starting from the front line will allow him to fight for the positions of honor in the race tomorrow. That if, together with their technical team, they still have work ahead to find the correct dry setting.

Good qualifying also for Baldassarri, who returns to the front line. The rider of the FlexBox HP 40 has been fast throughout the weekend in Japan and today, over wet, it has also confirmed it. With the time marked 2:02.212, close the first grid line and aim for everything tomorrow.

Great qualifying session for the FlexBox HP 40 that makes it optimistic for tomorrow's race, scheduled for 22 laps, at 13:20 local time -6:20 Spanish peninsular time-.

Augusto Fernández, 2nd, 2: 02.113 (+1.148)
"Happy with the first row today. It is important to start in front for tomorrow, as it seems that the race will be dry and we really do not know what level we are, since the first day it was difficult for us. Tomorrow we will make a change on the bike and we will go out a little blindly. The important thing is to start second and I hope we hit the key in the configuration of the bike and we can keep up with the fastest."

Lorenzo Baldassarri, 3rd, 2: 02.212 (+1.227)
"Very happy with today, a good team work. In the qualifying it has been important to leave soon given the track conditions, mark a good time, since then improving has been very complicated. It seems that the race will be dry and if so, I think we have the rhythm to be on top, although we need to adjust a couple of things that we will try to do in the warm up. We are ready for tomorrow and we are going to have fun in Japan."
